Which Hunting Simulator 3 Editions Can You Buy?
Standard and Apex Predator are the editions available through Nacon’s purchase options. This Hunting Simulator 3 editions guide breaks down their prices, formats, and bonuses so you can compare your purchase before checkout. Both include the base game, which launched October 29, 2026, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Select your platform before comparing prices: the PC and console versions have different starting prices, and physical copies appear separately from digital purchases.
| Platform | Standard digital | Standard physical | Apex Predator digital |
|---|---|---|---|
| PC, Steam key | €39.99 | — | €54.99 |
| PlayStation 5 | €49.99 | €49.99 | €64.99 |
| Xbox Series X|S | €49.99 | €49.99, Xbox Series X | €64.99 |
These are euro-denominated prices, not US dollar prices. Compare the amount shown for your region at checkout rather than reading €49.99 as $49.99. A dash means no physical option is represented in this comparison.
For PC purchases, select the Steam key option. For a physical console copy, check the platform printed on the package, especially when choosing between Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S hardware.
You can select your platform and format on the Hunting Simulator 3 purchase page.
MyNacon Bonus and Remington Weapons
The yellow-coated Labrador is tied to MyNacon account creation. Create a MyNacon account to get this companion bonus; it appears alongside both Standard and Apex Predator offers.

The edition offers also name two Remington weapons:
- Model 870 SPS SM Turkey/Predator shotgun
- Model 783 rifle
Keep these named bonuses separate when comparing purchases. The Labrador has an account-creation requirement, while the Remington weapons appear as equipment offers. Review the bonus information attached to your selected platform and format before completing the purchase.
The hunting dog is part of the broader hunting experience. Dogs can help locate tracks, follow trails, and retrieve small game, with orders issued through a command wheel. The yellow Labrador bonus concerns a specific companion appearance; hunting with a dog is already a core game feature.
What the Base Game Includes
Both editions include the base game’s Colorado and Texas hunting grounds. Each map covers approximately 100 km², with 37 animal species across the launch regions.

The core hunting experience includes:
- SimFauna wildlife: Animals age and develop over time, with genetics influencing trophy potential.
- Licensed equipment: Rifles, shotguns, bows, and crossbows from hunting brands including Remington, Beretta, Winchester, and Browning.
- Off-road exploration: Travel on foot or use a vehicle to move around the reserves.
- Regional missions and contracts: Complete hunting objectives while exploring each region.
- Customizable hunting lodges: Display trophies, manage equipment, and change the lodge’s appearance.
- Shooting activities: Practice your shooting and compete for clay-pigeon leaderboard scores.
Choose your equipment around the animals you intend to pursue. Visibility, noise, and scent affect how wildlife responds, so use terrain to cover your approach and watch the wind before closing the distance.
Weapon purchases unlock all calibers supported by that weapon, and you can switch them at the weapon bench. Purchased scopes and other attachments work across compatible weapons without buying another copy for every rifle.
Currency and Multiplayer Before You Buy
Hunting Simulator 3 uses Credits and Field Points, both earned exclusively through gameplay. Neither currency can be purchased with real money.

Credits pay for weapons, equipment, and other items, and your balance is shared across regions. Field Points are earned separately in each region through Field Journal objectives and are used to customize that region’s lodge. All purchasable gameplay equipment can be obtained by playing.
At launch, the game is single-player. Multiplayer is planned as a later update, with the initial version intended to let friends explore one another’s hunting reserves even without owning the host’s particular region. Crossplay will not be included in that initial multiplayer release.
If hunting together is your reason for buying, wait for the multiplayer update before organizing a group purchase.
